Hello all,
I’ve just got back from a meeting with other Geography teachers from across the county (Imagine how exciting that was!) and we decided that it was really important for you guys to actually take part in Geography and not just learn about it as it happens around you. I hope you all agree.
Anyway, I was wondering, not being so young myself anymore, what is it that really bothers you? If you could change somthing in the world, city, your local area, what would it be? It can be anything you want? We are really interested to hear what you say.
The idea would be to decide upon something and then join with other schools across the city and county to change what ever it was that you guys decided upon.
If you dont participate in this thread then we really cant do too much. A very famous person once said you should be the change you want to see in the world so lets do that. Talk to me!

If i cud change anything in the world it would be climate change and all the talk about it. I t worries me. i just want to enjoy life and not worry about everything. as kids i think we have enough to wory about

hmm probably the use of fuel and nuclear power is there an alternative and all this rubbish the media are so controlling of our lives

more parks or places like that instead of massive tower blocks that ruin scenery/environment whilst giving kids somewhere to go

sir i know its geography talk but i would change how fit people were and general fitness and people that dont worry about their face or any one else’s as well as saying to the goverment that you dont need to go over the top with eco stuff or your’ll end up with eco tree’s . ( which u cant make any more eco friendly)

sir we could ask car companies to think how eco friendly there cars really are because aparantly a car i saw on last weeks top gear that was suposed to be eco was all together worse than a usual B.M.W .

do your know how papers made from trees and that we complane that we should recycle it what about money ? thats made from trees so whats different apart from money is more valuable than paper were’s to be honest they both come from trees so ??????

hey sir i personally think a room full of geography people is kinda boring but i would change all sat-navs to work all the time so we could banish maps!!!
