Biodiversity is in decline.

The WWF has said that biodiversity has decreased by a quarter over the past 35 years.

Just when the Burmese people thought it couldnt get any worse

It looks like there may be even more trouble ahead for the people of Burma. Another cyclone may be brewing in the Indian ocean. This will obviously be devastaing for the people who have already lost so much.

Population change in the news

With the number of people reaching the age of 85 set to double in the next 20 years it seems the politicians are just catching on to what us Geographers knew long ago about our greying population.
